"us' - Utility Services has introduced this new technology to provide a structural relining service to the Australian and New Zealand, Water, Sewer and Gas markets.
Where this product differs from other relining options is that Compact Pipe is a true pipe in its own right. That is, it does not rely on the host pipe to hold the pressure. The pipe has enough strength on its own. The original pipe merely provides a conduit for the Compact Pipe and therefore it is ideal for rehabilitating water mains and sewer rising mains.
In this case example (Lang Lang Sewer Rising Main, Victoria), we relined 320 metres in 2.5 days, didn't need to dig up any roads (we went under one main road and one side road) nor was any driveway (14 of them) disturbed. Hence the cost savings are significant.
The job wasn't without its challenges, but it was our first installation and we had numerous people being trained. Without these "learning opportunities" the job would have taken 2 days!
