Asset Management
The Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Approach is a procedure for determining maintenance strategies based on reliability techniques and encompasses well-known analysis methods such as Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
RCM procedures take into account the prime objectives of a maintenance programme:
- Optimise Costs
- Meet Safety and Environmental goals
- Meet Operational goals
Computer simulation of maintenance strategies using Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) tools allows the maintenance optimisation process to be integrated into ongoing asset management.
Simulation also allows the maintenance practitioner to make decisions that are assessed against the needs of the business, such as:
- Safety impact
- Operations impact
- Cost impact
- Rapidly assess alternative plant maintenance strategies over the expected lifetime
- Update the decision base with the latest failure history
- Predict budget requirement and model alternative scenarios
Our capability includes preparation and maintenance of Reliability Models for all Mechanical and Electrical systems including:
- Water Pump Stations
- Waste Water Pump Stations
- Water Reservoirs and Tanks
- Wastewater Treatment Plants
plus ongoing development and implementation of maintenance strategies including plant renewal for all Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
